Algiers: The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has sent a message of condolence to the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following the floods that affected some parts of the country, leaving dozens of victims and several injured, and causing extensive material damage.
According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune expressed his sadness and grief upon learning about the disaster that occurred in Nigeria. The floods have severely impacted the central region of the State of Niger, resulting in significant loss of life and injuries, alongside substantial material destruction.
In his message, President Tebboune conveyed his heartfelt condolences and solidarity to President Tinubu, the Nigerian government, and the bereaved families. He emphasized the support of the Algerian people and government, extending his personal sympathy and prayers for the victims, hoping for divine mercy for those who lost their lives and a swift recovery for the injured.
