Algiers: The president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, awarded the Athir Medal of the National Merit Order to Mujaheed Salah Goudjil, the speaker of the Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament). Goudjil, who concludes his career at this esteemed constitutional institution, has been recognized for his exceptional service and integrity.
According to Algeria Press Service, the ceremony took place at the Palace of People in Algiers and was attended by top state officials, members of the government, national personalities, and mujahideen. The Athir Medal is a prestigious honor, acknowledging Goudjil’s dedication to the struggle for national liberation and his contributions to national construction.
