Saudi Ambassador Joins Farewell for First Algerian Pilgrims at Algiers Airport

Algiers: The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Algeria, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Busairi, participated in the farewell ceremony for the first group of Algerian pilgrims departing from Algiers International Airport. The event was attended by several prominent Algerian officials, including His Excellency the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youssef Belmahdi, and other key ministers such as Said Sayoud, Mohamed Meziane, Abdelhak Saihi, Houria Maddahi, and Sofiane Chaib.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Ambassador Al-Basri addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has finalized preparations to welcome the pilgrims, referred to as the Guests of God. These preparations aim to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey, ensuring their comfort and enabling them to perform their religious rituals efficiently.

The ambassador highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing services through the Guests of God Program, which is a part of Saud
i Arabia’s Vision 2030. He mentioned the introduction of the “Nusuk” application, which provides over 100 services designed to raise awareness and guide pilgrims, utilizing the latest artificial intelligence technologies and other advanced services.
