Amman: The first vice-president of the Algerian Judo Federation, Khaled Ouennouf, has officially joined the Executive Board of the Arab Judo Federation for the 2025-2028 Olympic term. Ouennouf’s election was confirmed during the body’s Electoral General Assembly, which took place on Tuesday morning in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The assembly was held on the sidelines of the 2025 Arab Championships.
According to Algeria Press Service, Ouennouf’s appointment to the Executive Board marks a significant development in the regional judo scene. As part of his new role, Ouennouf will contribute to the strategic decision-making processes of the Arab Judo Federation during a crucial period leading up to the 2028 Olympics. His involvement is expected to bring a wealth of experience and perspective to the board, benefitting the broader regional judo community.
