Algiers: President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received the former president of the United Republic of Tanzania, Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, who delivered a letter from Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu, the presidency of the Republic announced in a statement.
According to Algeria Press Service, the meeting was highlighted by the presence of several key officials including the chief of staff of the presidency of the Republic, Boualem Boualem. Also in attendance were the Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, alongside the Minister of Health, Abdelhak Saihi.
The statement did not disclose the contents of the letter from President Samia Suluhu. However, the gathering underscores the ongoing diplomatic and cooperative ties between Algeria and Tanzania. The discussions are likely to have touched upon areas of mutual interest and partnership between the two nations.
