President of Algeria Mourns the Passing of Revolution Ally Félix Louis Giro Colozzi

Algiers: President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressed his condolences to the family of Félix Louis Giro Colozzi, a mujahid and supporter of the Algerian Revolution, who died at the age of 95.

According to Algeria Press Service, President Tebboune sent a heartfelt message highlighting Colozzi’s dedication to the Algerian Liberation Revolution. Colozzi, a French national who aligned himself with the Algerian cause, joined the revolution as a militant and mujahid. He endured imprisonment in the Serkadji and Lambèse prisons in Algeria as well as in France for his commitment to the struggle against colonial rule.

The President’s message acknowledged Colozzi’s decision to make Algeria his home, where he was granted citizenship and held significant roles within national institutions. President Tebboune extended his condolences to Colozzi’s family and fellow mujahideen, expressing compassion and prayers for divine mercy for the deceased.
