Communication Minister Chairs Ceremony Celebrating 63rd Anniversary of APS Creation.

Algiers: Minister of Communication, Mohamed Meziane, chaired a ceremony on Sunday in Algiers organized by the Algeria Press Service agency (APS) to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of its creation. The event was marked by the launch of a new information service in the Russian language, aligning with APS’s strategy to expand its services and enhance Algeria’s international presence.

According to Algeria Press Service, the introduction of the Russian language service is a significant step in APS’s efforts to amplify Algeria’s voice on a global scale. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to diversify the agency’s linguistic offerings and cater to a wider international audience, reflecting Algeria’s commitment to fostering cross-cultural communication and engagement.
