HM King’s keynote speech praised by Speaker

Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, has affirmed that the keynote speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, during the ceremony held at the Al-Sakhir Palace on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its national days, the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne, and the accompanying national events, consolidates the strategic vision of the kingdom’s comprehensive development process.

Al Musallam lauded the noble values embedded in the royal speech in which HM the King affirmed the achievements of the modern state in Bahrain, the national action method and the ongoing efforts to strengthen joint action, in addition to advancing the kingdom’s global humanitarian role.

He hailed HM the King’s confirmation of the kingdom’s stance on the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent and fully sovereign state.

The speaker expressed pride in the royal commendation of the kingdom’s experience in ensuring the stability of its institutions, maintaining its distinguished status and honouring national action pioneers.

Al Musallam commended HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s support for achieving the royal aspirations, consolidating the constructive Executive-Legislature cooperation and continuing work and achievements with the team spirit of Team Bahrain.

The Speaker stressed the importance of commitment to national fundamentals, and supporting the progress and development process, by protecting rights and freedoms, respecting the law, and performing duties with all sincerity and dedication.

Speaker Al Musallam congratulated those honoured by HM the King during the National Day ceremony, commending their efforts in serving the kingdom and its citizens.
