The President of the Republic, who paid a working visit to Qatar at the head of a large ministerial delegation, was received by the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The two leaders held talks on ways to improve and develop the bilateral relations, notably in the fields of economy, trade, industry, energy and technology, as well as on the latest regional and international developments.
The President of the Republic will start, as from Monday, a State visit to the People’s Republic of China, as part of the strengthening of the solid and rooted relations and the strengthening of the economic cooperation between the two friendly countries, at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
