MOSCOW (Russia)- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune continues Wednesday the three-day State visit to the Federation of Russia, he started Tuesday, at the invitation of his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
The president of the Republic will chair the opening of the Algerian-Russian Business Forum meeting, meant to enhance the opportunities of partnership, cooperation and investment and give a boost to economic relations between the two countries.
President Tebboune will inaugurate a small square and a memorial stone for Emir Abdelkader, the first of its kind in Russia erected in the memory of an Arab-Muslim personality, in recognition of the contributions and role of the founder of the Algerian State in spreading the values of tolerance, dialogue of religions and human principles.
The president of the Republic will visit the State Duma Council and the Russian Federation Council.
He will also meet with representatives of the national community in Russia, given his commitment to communication with the members of the national community abroad and to listening to their concerns.
During the three-day visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries, President Tebboune will participate in the International Economic Forum of Saint Petersburg.
