Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, met with Dr. Raja Al Marzouqi, newly appointed General Coordinator for Negotiations and Head of the negotiation team of the GCC.
Fakhro congratulated Al Marzouqi on the confidence he received from the GCC Ministerial Council, wishing him success in his post.
The minister stressed the pivotal role of the negotiating team to prepare suitable grounds to advance unified Gulf economic efforts to forge strategic partnerships with international economic blocs, which contributes to advancing the process of economic integration through joint plans and programmes among GCC countries.
The meeting discussed the work of the negotiation team and other matters of common interest.
