Algeria will never give up defending the just Palestinian cause in international fora, Minister of Mujahideen and Rightful Claimants Laïd Rebiga said Monday in Algiers.
Speaking at an international conference commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, Rebiga stressed that the Algeria of martyrs and mujahideen “will never give up defending the just Palestinian cause in international fora,” stressing that “it will remain on the side of the Palestinians and Palestine.”
Referring to Algeria’s main support for this cause, the minister cited the achievements made on Algerian soil “during the conference of unification of the Palestinian ranks held from 11 to 13 October 2022.”
The same official said that this Conference constitutes “a strike force for freedom and independence. The historic conclusions of the 31st Arab Summit have strengthened, through its decisions, the support given to the Palestinian people for the recovery of their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent state with El-Quds Echarif as its capital.
Recalling that the President of the Republic reiterated this historic position in his message delivered on the occasion of the Arab Summit in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), the minister said that two thirds of this message were dedicated to the inalienable support to the central Arab cause.
“This position stems from the conviction of the Algerian people and its far-sighted leadership in the triumph of the legitimate and indefeasible right. History has always shown that Algeria’s approaches and positions were the most sincere and the most conciliatory with the history of humanity.”
