The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired Wednesday at the International Conference Center (CIC) Abdelatif Rahal (Algiers) the ceremony to celebrate the World Press Freedom Day (May 3).
Senior State officials, government members, national press representatives, and international reporters accredited in Algeria attended the ceremony.
On this occasion, the Communication Minister, Mohamed Bouslimani delivered a speech in which he welcomed the ongoing reforms affecting his sector and State’s efforts to develop it.
The minister also reaffirmed Algeria’s support for the struggles led by free journalists and all freedom-loving people worldwide.
