HM the King Congratulates Italian President on National Day

Rabat - His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to Italian President Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of his country's National Day. In the message, HM the King expresses His warmest congratulations and His best wishes to Mattarella and the Italian people. Justice Minister sees off Bahraini pilgrims

Manama, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf and Chairman of the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, participated in bidding farewell to the first groups of pilgrims leaving for Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj. Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Chairman of the Bahrain Pilgrimage Mission, was present. The minister lauded the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on providing all forms of facilities for the journey of pilgrims and providing them with all means of comfort. Minister Al Maawda commended the efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving the pilgrims and providing the needful for them to perform Hajj comfortably and safely. Kuwait Min. of Social Affairs congratulates Kuwait Crown Prince

Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Sunday, congratulated His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, on the new post as Crown Prince. UNRWA: 36 shelters in Rafah are empty due to the ongoing Israeli military operation

Jerusalem, The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Sunday that all of its 36 shelters in Rafah in southern Gaza are 'empty' due to the ongoing Israeli military operation. UNRWA wrote on its social media platform X that thousands of families were forced to flee. UNRWA added that 1.7 million of Gaza's population are now displaced in the city of Khan Yunis, and its surrounding areas. Relief organizations have repeatedly warned that there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Israeli operations, which began on October 7. Source: Bahrain News Agency

Bahrain values US President initiative regarding ceasefire in Gaza

Manama, The Kingdom of Bahrain values the initiative of the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, regarding a ceasefire in Gaza, a statement by the Foreign affairs Ministry said. Bahrain called upon all parties to respond seriously and positively to the proposal, as it is an opportunity to permanently end the war, release hostages and detainees, rebuild Gaza, and expand the unimpeded flow of humanitarian aid to civilians. The statement added that the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomes all initiatives and efforts aimed at an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and addressing the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the Strip. This aligns with the decisions of the 33rd Arab Summit hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain on May 16, and the call for holding an international conference for peace in the Middle East leading to the establishment of a national, independent and secure Palestinian state.
